Two thoughts:
- Was the old church in an unincorporated area ("town" in Wisconsin
lingo) and the new one in an incorporated area (village or city)? If so,
they're in two different locations, e.g., Town of Germantown, Washington
County, Wisconsin vs. Germantown, Washington County, Wisconsin.

- Could you distinguish them by referring to one as Old St. Anybody's
Church and the other as New St. Anybody's Church?
