I, like Graham, love the sourcing capabilities. While there may be a
learning curve to working with them, I don't think it is as nearly steep as
that in TMG which has that crazy group thing, you can only use one item from
a group, no higher-lower source connectivity, etc. And I think that the
variables are far more intuitive than TMG. Once you have worked with Mills
and understand the concept of parsing out the information in a citation, it
becomes fairly easy. Plus you get the wonderful option to mark your text
for inclusion in the citation which is the best thing since sliced bread.

Subject: Re: [GENBOX] Bill Needs to Respond Here
The main reason I came to Genbox was its capability in handling witnesses
and that the data is stored in an Access file format. It's my data and, if
I choose too, I know I can always access it directly so I am future proofed.
That's the way I like it rather than being held in some proprietary format
that that I cannot easily access.
I have grown to like the Source and Citations functionality but realise
there is a steep learning curve here.
It has many other functions and an ability to customise its use as others
have mentioned.
My concern is for the future of the product, will development just cease at
some point unexpectedly, be fozen at say version 4 or made open source?
More strategic marketing questions for Bill.
Thanks for a great product,
Graham
