When the Identifier-setting for preferred spouse is set to "Omit", then the
Wife-field is omitted from the report entirely.

Ideas you could try:
Check the names of the spouses involved (Identifier-tab): is any name
specified as preferred? Is it set to "Exclude"?
Run the maintenance options from the File-menu.
Close and re-open Genbox.

Hope one of them does the trick.
