Dear Denise,
I completely understand that it takes time and testing... One can best
see this if one follows the Mozilla projects and how the number of
bugs develops over time (as well as the bug fixes). I was just
generally interested in hearing that a new version is probably in the
works, since I am trying to figure out which software to use in the
future.
I currently have both, Legacy 6 and Genbox 3.7.1 - I use the former to
enter data, since I discovered Genbox later and am now used to the
Legacy way of data entry. However, I switched to Genbox from time to
time for charts or reports. Knowing that Genbox is still developed may
convince me to go through the learning process of adapting Genbox
completely, since there is one thing that Legacy cannot give me (and
won't with version 7 either) - UTF-8 support. I have some Polish
roots, and not being able to enter Polish characters just drives me
nuts. There are work arrounds of course, but it is still a pain...
Anyway, thanks for the info... I appreciate the input.

Management and product marketing want the release 'immediately'. Development is scrambling to fix the major bugs, with QA doing incremental testing. And, Friday afternoon Regulatory decided the warning messages in the treatment software did not meet FDA and other worldwide regulatory requirements and want the software changed 'immediately'. With the first customer installation scheduled for mid-month (about a week's work for the installers), it is definitely hectic here at the moment.
