Using the search for individuals I entered the sex as male under the attributes tab, in events enter the less than date and the place. The first time I tried this it gave far more results than expected and for places other than the entered event place. However, if after entering the place name you tab onto the next line it seems to give correct results.
Good luck

How did you do that query? It is irrelevant to me what the particular event
is, only that it occurred in a particular location before a certain date.

I can find all the males who had an event at a particular place before a
certain date, but then you would have to look through those to find the
events. I thought the searches always returned people rather than events.

Subject: [GENBOX] Query Question
I want to search for ALL events that occurred in Graves County, Kentucky
BEFORE 1860 where the principal was a male. I can't seem to come up with
the right stuff to make that happen. Open to ideas/suggestions/help.
