Have you tried entering a sort date so the event sorts before the death
date? He was a farmer at least one day prior to his death.

Subject: [GENBOX] Information known from event after death

If the only information about a person's occupation is obtained from an
event occurring after his/her death, e.g. from the marriage or death of a
child, I have been entering this as e.g. "farmer (deceased)" with the date
of that event. This unfortunately leads to it being returned in the search
for possible errors. I was wondering how others treat this, for I wish to
retain the date and source of the information but do not want to have to
work through all the large numbers of possible errors nor to just ignore the
ones reported as event occurring after death in case this is a genuine
error.
Thanks
