You have to change this in two places: On the Summary page for the child
and on the child's Birth event. Have you done it in both places?

The program keeps switching the mother and the father in one family no
matter what I do. The mother is marked female and the father male, but it
keeps
saying the female is the father and vice versa. I've changed it a dozen
times
now... 4 or 5 different ways... and still it says the mother is the father.
HELP!!!
