Hello Roger,
Thanks for your help.
Because of the time savings on data entry I have decided to go with
Separate sources per census per household. Once the data for an individual
household is entered I can point each member of the household that night to
the respective source with their entry Marked. This seems to work very well
for me!

I think you will find that's how it is done unless someone else posts
another way.
ie each separate household on the census is a separate source. This one
source can be linked to quite a bit of data/information entry especially
if a larger household. I would find it messy trying to link many
households with many different families to the one source.
