Hi Polly,

"deleting higher places" in this context: go the Placerecord for Munnsville
in Places View and remove the contents from 'Higher Place' on the
General-tab: select the entire content of the field and hit Delete. The
higher place (City of Oneida) is still in your places-table, you've only
deleted the link to its placerecord.

When you want to delete the entire record for Oneida, select Oneida in
Places View and hit the Delete-icon on the main toolbar or via menu Data >
Delete Place. Before you do this however, make sure the placerecord isn't
used somewhere else in your database. You can check this on the Links-tab of
Places View.
