That is a program default for narratives. I don't know how you can force
the maiden name into parentheses whenever you talk about a couple. Perhaps
someone else knows or perhaps that is something on the horizon that will
allow for this.

Subject: [GENBOX] Married Couple Name Structure

I have a sentence structure that I wish to use for my "married couples".

The following example is used, by Genbox, as the first sentence in a
individual-narrative report:
Example: "Valda Wennelle Patton, daughter of Francis Marion and Lena
Almeta (Hughes) Patton ....."

I would like to use the "Francis Marion and Lena Almeta (Hughes) Patton"
part whenever I talk about this married couple.

Problem: I can find no way to globally use the maiden name/married name
combination shown by the example. I am looking for a variable
something like [S] that will display "Lena Almeta (Hughes) Patton" for
her married name.

Question: How in the world did Genbox generate the example sentence?

David
