I'm doing some comparisons between an old GENBOX database (on drive F) and a new database (drive C). When I tried to open them this morning, drive C opened okay but when I tried to open the file on drive F, I got the following message:

Unrecognized database format 'F:\\Genealogy\\Backup - Family Trees\\MY FAMILY TREE-OLD.GDB'.

When I looked at the files on that drive, I also found another database which I think is the same one but when I try to open it, I get this message:

You do not have the necessary permissions to use the 'F:\\Genealogy\\Backup - Family Trees\\MY FAMILY TREE-OLD.GDB1' object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you.

Any suggestions?
