Hi Don,
Not really suppressing but you can delete the Label of a columnheader:
dclick on a "selected field" on the Content-tab and delete the contents of
the label-box. The headerarea will still claim it's space though, it's
become an empty row.
You can change fontsettings for labels on the Format-tab (selecting another
color though didn't work in my case).
