Kathy - I suspect because there are no links to individuals or events from
the higher source, only to lower sources (or should be if used as I believe
designed). In that case, you will need to run a separate query for each
lower source linked to the higher source. I only use higher sources for
very limited purposes, principally Ancestry, Genealogy.com, Heritage Quest,
and Rootsweb. But still in many cases I make separate sources instead of
creating a stepped pyramid.

There's a new twist to this technique I just disovered-- you can't search
for higher level sources on the Notes tab, only lower level ones, which can
be pretty inefficient for the task at hand.
