Hmm. . . It doesn't seem as though that should be happening, but I'm
finding it, too. If there is no married name entered, it should be:
Albert Thomas, son of Joseph Edward Thomas and Mary Brown.

I know there are others on the list who are knowledgeable about the
workings of married names. Perhaps one of them could comment on it.
