Hi, I am new, have a lot of work to do! I like genbox a lot, been trying
out several in past couple of weeks. Please be patient with me! I hope
that you can help.

1. Spouse married last name

I don’t want these to automatically be included in reports as they are.
They are not entered or marked by self.

Q How do I stop this?


2. Unknown spouses and children

Q How to enter so I get simple entries in reports? I would like
unknown’s simply always entered once each reference only as “(unknown)”
lower case.

For example, I entered George’s unknown spouse as unknown and she got an
ID number. She comes out all caps UNKNOWN in first gen.
and in second, he married UNKNOWN.

In 2nd also, it is George and “ [–?--] (unknown) “ Thomas were parents
of one child: ... Frances Thomas

Okay, in 3rd,

Frances Thomas, daughter of George and “ ___ (unknown) “ Thomas was
born 30 October 1841. She married “ UNKNOWN. “

.... and so it goes with the UNKNOWN [–?–] and ___ down the line.
It gets pretty dizzy. (In this case, the “Thomas” needs to be cut out
anyway as it assumes she took his married name.)
