Subject: Why does the Chapman County Code Ken get chjanged to Kenya?
Date: Fri, 17 Sep 2004 17:37:16 +0100

Bill,

Using all the GB options, nevertheless an entry for a marriage at Dartford,
Ken is changed by Genbox to read Dartford, Kenya.

Now, I know that a lot of the <www.ancestry.com> site transcriptions have
changed Taunton, Som to Taunton Somalia but why here?

The CCC (Chapman County Codes) are used universally for the UK cunties by
researchers both here in the UK but also by our English speaking cousins.

Cannot Genbox reflect the CCC for all GB options?

Many thanks,

Phil.
