Wim, Kathy,

Thanks. That helps a lot. Now, can you help a little more?

1. If you set up an Events report with these fields selected:
Primary [Esther HARWARD]
Date
Type [*]
Research Note
is there a way to suppress the output of the Primary's name for each
event? Otherwise her name appears on every line.

2. Is the a way to designate a set of specific event types for output?
Type [*] gets all events. How do you write the filter to get only four
or five specific event types?

3. Can the event sourcing be output in a report of the kind described?
Each of the events in Esther's report has a source and citation; the
report is set up to output end notes; but no notes appear. If the
sourcing applies only to the sentence template for an event (or to the
general note?), does this mean all event research notes have to be
entered with their own embedded citations in order for the source of the
research note info to be output?

4. The Name field (not used above) outputs the event name, the event
date, and the event place. That's cool. Is there a way to use the Name
field rather than the Type field in the report above and still sort the
output chronologically? (Right now it's sorted on the Date field.)

Thanks!

Don
