Sally, I think you could save yourself a step by going directly to
Projects. When you enter something in one of the blank lines on the
Research tab, you're asked if you want to create a new Research Target. If
you say yes, the RT number is automatically entered for you, and a link
created. If you then want to enter information in the research target, you
can double-click on the line you just entered on the RT tab.
