Michel - I tried this and it doesn't seem to produce any results at all.
The General Note is not outputting in the Preview. Nor does it seem to work
if you put your suggestions directly into the Sentence.

Does anyone know how this works and would be willing to explain it?

Thanks. CheriC

Cheri,

Unless I misunderstand, you could have a general note like this for a
birth event:
<This was the first time [P1%] was a father.>
<[P2%] had never been a mother before.>
<[P3%] was an only child.>

When you then look at the output for the father you get

Petrus Constantinus Gilliet had a daughter Jeanne Gilliet on 9 April
1890 in Ledeberg.
This was the first time Petrus was a father.

The mother has this sentence for the same birth event:

Elvira Maria Bourscheidt had a daughter Jeanne Gilliet on 9 April 1890
in Ledeberg.
Elvira had never been a mother before.

The daughter gets this:

Jeanne Gilliet was born on 9 April 1890 in Ledeberg.
She was an only child.

Hope this makes it clear. And hope I got the point.

Michel
