Bill, et al,
Some very nice enhancements that will take some time to assimilate. I
especially like the idea of being able to 'test' variables without
outputting them in sentences. This will be very useful. Thanks, Bill.
Specifically, I have a question about the use of the [N#] Name variable for
individuals. Obviously, this allows you to create a template for an
individual Event that will use a specific name variation, such as a married
name. However, it appears to do this, it must be done on each specific
event, and makes the template for that event Custom, so that changes in the
master Event Template will not change this 'overridden' template. I am just
wondering if this is a replacement for the yet to be implemented feature of
chronological name changes? Wondering what the long-term strategy is before
changing any of my data.
If this question is unclear to anyone, please feel free to have me expound
(or excommunicated [as appropriate]). <g>
Paul

Thanks Bill. The full install has been downloaded and installed, with the
database converted. I am now printing the multiage release notes. Those will
take some study as you appear to have out done yourself.
Best,
Denise

Subject: [GENBOX] VERSION 3.2.0 RELEASED
Genbox Family History version 3.2.0 was released today (June 19, 2004).
This update adds improved GEDCOM support, user-definable identifier types,
expanded field codes, and additional language templates, plus a number of
other enhancements and problem corrections.
Be sure to back up your database before running the new version, as the
installation program changes the data structure.
