Subject: [GENBOX] Witnesses in Ancestor Narrative

Oh Boy, now I'm confused....!!!!!

After installing Genbox and without modifying any templates, I would
generate an Ancestor Narrative (using myself as the subject). In the first
generation right at the top I would get this...

1. Richard Charles Marek,[i] son of John and Monika (Pabich) Marek,[ii] was
born on 20 January 1957 at Norwegian American Hospital, Chicago, Cook
County, Illinois. Witnesses: R. Bard, MD, attending physician.

So far so good but in the second generation, where I am a child, I would get
this...

1
i.
Richard Charles Marek was born on 20 January 1957 at Norwegian American
Hospital, Chicago, Cook County. Witnesses: R., attending physician.[i]

Notice that the witness has no surname. I cannot figure out what generates
the witnesses after the Event sentences. I tried Wim's examples for the 3-4
different templates that would control it but, adding any sort of "witness"
formatting in the templates gives me a event sentence which includes the
witness in the sentence AND then the witnesses are listed after the
sentence. Nothing has changed the truncating of the name.

Confused and Stumped,
Rich
