What do your time spans look like-exactly?

On the Individual View, Summary Tab, if they are not is proper chronological
order, are ages calculated for them (if there is a birth date)?

Thanks for the suggestion. I had not tried the maint routines. Just did and
the list remains unchanged and still out of time order. I am beginning to
suspect that the list is fine for a single date, yet has problems with date
spans or ranges. Any comments Bill?

Denise - I haven't experienced this particular problem. I use the
Employment event tag versus the Occupation and have the secondary output set
to Attribute. Both events and Attributes are coming across in date order,
however, I must admit that I haven't used too many spans but rather a single
year (in particular using occupations listed on the census). Have you tried
the maintenance operations? I find that Compacting often fixes things that
appear to be out of sync.

Just back from a five-day business trip. I am happy to see the list back in
order, yet was hoping for an answer or at least a suggestion to my question
of Oct. 12th. I am using date spans for the occupation list yet have not
been able to 'order' the occupations in a time sequence. Even the Event tag
(Occupation 1, Occupation 8, etc) are not in sequence. Any ideas?

The list certainly has been quiet of late. I do have a question however and
would appreciate a bit of assistance.

In working with the Attributes tab. Individuals window I have a series of
Occupations listed for individuals through their lifetime. The Attribute
Type is Occupation. The Text is the name of that occupation. And the E
button is active to tie in with the event.

Now, the problem is there is no sequential order (time) for these
attributes. Each of the events has a date, however those dates do not seem
to be sequencing these attributes. So, what have I missed?
