Additionally, how do you get queries to pick up estimated, calculated, etc.,
dates? If you put in a straight year, such as 1925, it will get those
people unless the date is est., cal, etc. If you use a date range of
1911-2002, it also does not pick up any without a "firm" date of birth. The
inability to query on dates with modifiers is a good case for not using
modifiers. But the best that can be said for a child who is 5 on the 1930
census is that s/he was born "abt. 1925."
Seems like this puts you between a rock and a hard place.
