Hi Paul,
For my sources that I setup at the document level such as Deed Book D or Al
Birth Certificate, my citations actually have my document information, for
example page number, certificate number, name etc.
So for the document level sources placing the file number in the name box
will not work. I might have 20 documents from this one source. It would work
if I used a higher and lower source.
So I had decided to use the notes section on the source page and list my doc
file numbers there. I was even contemplating changing the source type book
to a lower level source and changing the labels from doc so and so to source
so and so that is until your message before this one.
I guess I will have to do some more thinking but my brain is getting overly
tired. I just need to make a final decision on my method of handling these
details before entering massive amounts of data. I am preparing to enter all
of my documents with one citation to the main event; and then going back as
time permits for other necessary citations. At least I will have a broad
overview of my research and every item will be filed in my new filing system
and maybe I can actually go to courthouses and get more documents and try
out my new digital camera. <vbg>
