Hello list,
To clarify my previous message. My document file numbers are a separate
issue. I would like some place to enter these. This issue just reminded me
of questions I had originally about the higher and lower source levels.

Regarding deeds, sure I have 3 or 4 original deeds from my family and they
would be at the document level. But the majority of them are clerk's copies
out of Deed Books and I don't understand why they should be treated any
differently than another type of book, but I do not believe that the Source
named Book was intended for this type of entry. It would be the same with
death certificates. Each individual death certificate has a higher source.
