The Local Prefix box is greyed out and unavailable. I keep forgetting that
you have to go to the Event Template to fix the place prefix. I guess I
personally would find it easier to be able to control prepositions and the
like at the sentence level. I just ended up typing that portion of the
sentence the way I wanted in in General Notes, eliminating the [L] variable
and including the [G].

Cheri, you could make "on the Mississippi River" a leading modifier; or use
the place prefix box on the events templates view: general page if
Mississippi River is a higher than a local site; otherwise use the local
prefix box.
