In this case, I don't even have assumptions to go on. Even this woman's own
brother doesn't know the names or anything about his nieces/nephews. In
fact, he doesn't even know where his sister lives! (I come from one of
*those* families.). CheriC

P.S. These children DO generate on boxed charts. Actually my preference on
kids anyway--instead of So and So had This and That on; repeated for
X-number of children--would be for a stringed paragraph: So and So had the
following children: Missy, born 11 October 1952 in Topeka, Kansas; John,
born, 22 December 1955 in Denver, Colorado," etc. Guess I will have to futz
with my writing my own "kids" paragraphs, excluding the Childbirth events
and using Issue events. Seems rather a pain to have to re-enumerate the
kids here to get rid of the repetitive string.

Cheri,

I guess it DOES take a Childbirth Event to show on the Individual Narrative,
otherwise, where would the sentence come from/

You don't HAVE to make the events EMPTY. I have plenty of children that need
circa birth dates so they will appear in the proper place in the family. I
thought you were an advocate of the Assumptions source. <g>

I just noted that an Individual Narrative does not show those children for
whom there is no Birth event, i.e., they have merely been added in the
Children area of the Summary View. It seems that children--absent
birthdates--only were imported to the Children area. I guess this means
that I have to make "empty" Birth/Childbirth events for all of these kids
for them to show on the IN. I personally don't like to make events that are
devoid of date/place data.

Is there someway to get such kids to print or am I going to have to make
empty events just to have the connection generate on the IN?

CheriC
