I agree with you and would point out that the Individual>Events Report WILL
list the dates of Census Events, so there must be a different method at
work. I hope Bill will comment on this.

Paul - I think that there are going to be issues with GB populating the FGS
date field using the [D] variable from the sentences. I have, for example,
someone who served during the CW. For a date I have "between 1863 and
1866." For the sentence I have a custom one that merely reads: [P] served
with the Union Army during the Civil War.
Therefore any time that the date variable is omitted from the sentence, a
date won't generate on the FGS. There are lots of Events for which you
don't have, don't want, or don't need a date in any narrative but for which
you wish output in the FGS.
Bill, I hope you are monitoring this discussion and have some solutions for
the date issue as it relates to the FGS and dependence on sentence
variables.
