I prefer not to add names to citations because they create a new Identifier
for the individuals involved. I want to make my own identifiers. I see
absolutely no point in having someone (for example, myself) identified as
"Cheri Casper" and creating a new Identifier just because the source said
that when my full name is "Cheri Luann Casper."

Cheri,
You attach the Name Citations by using the Name Tab in the actual marriage
citation.

You've cited the marriage right? Open it up, and then click on the Name
Tab. You enter the names there. It will automatically assign a Name
citation for each individual.

Hope this is what you are looking for.
