David - If you don't have anyone from England, just delete the place
entirely. Then when you do find someone from England, GB will add that
place back. I deleted all unused places to make for a cleaner place list
(although I have the sample for a backup place list in case I ever need it).
Alternatively, if you want to keep a list of those places but not in your
place list, make a project and store the information there. I have one
project that I use for keeping notes that relate to my dataset in general,
the "codes" that I use for sources so they cluster in the source list, etc.

Me to Jim... And yes we did import from the same database.
Here is the "clinker" I don't have anyone in my database that came from
England.
Oh well, I will go back in (after 19) and see what I can do with the
places database.
Wim had a suggestion that I think I will try first since it appears that
GEDCOM sometime, someplace, got United States and United Kingdom confused.

Did you ever get your exports to work correctly for you?
