In the namefield search for John/*/ This will result in only given names
starting with John.

Haven't figured out exactly how this works but this is what the Match-tab is
for. You have to set the relationship of Ind1 to Ind2 etc.

[ - ability to iteratively search to narrow results (ie. search within
[ search results only) Having this work with the list capability would be
[ useful to so that frequently used sets could be saved as lists and then
[ used as starting points for searches.

Probably with the match tab also but then again, this is quite difficult to
work with.

[ - have arrow keys work to cycle through a list (Query Results or Saved
[ List) rather than the entire database, similar to the way they work with
[ selection filters

You can step through any list with the "VCR-buttons". I would like to have
the PgUp/PgDwn key for this though too.

[ A little bit more ambitious, but something that would be *very* useful
[ to me would be a "may have been alive at <date>" perhaps generalized to
[ "was likely of age <age range> at <date>." One of the things I'm often
[ trying to do is generate lists of likely candidates to look for in a
[ particular source and something like would be very useful (but can be
[ constructed by hand out of the iterative search requested above).

Probably possible but wouldn't know where and how to set the criteria. Tried
this on the events page (there is an age box) but got an error message
requesting for more parameters: expected number was 1. I had filled in
several criteria. Don't know if this was an operator- or program-error.
