[geting them fixed. For example, my in-laws are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery
[Companion Gardens, Kirkwood, St. Louis Co., Missouri. In TMG there was a
[place where I could put the actual plot & space numbers. I now can't get
[rid of them in GB although I have cut and pasted them from the data fields
[into the Research Notes box, GB will not let me delete them from the Place
[List. I get an error message "Operation is not supported for this type of
[object." Whatever the heck that means. It is also interesting that I now
I had this error message a couple of time. After Repair/Compact I was able to
delete the place I wanted.
[have been able to get my father-in-law buried properly: Place - Kirkwood,
[St. Louis Co., Missouri; Local Site - Oak Hill Cemetery Companion Gardens.
[But I can't get my mother-in-law buried there. I can get the Local Site
[entered correctly, but when I try to type "Kirkwood, St. Louis Co.,
[Missouri" in the Place field, it appears to go well, but the minute you hit
[the tab or enter key, it shoves the Place data down into the Local Site! I
[have tried all of the maintenace to no avail and I can't seem to be able to
[delete the d**n places from the Place List that would correct this mess.
Type "Oak Hill Cemetery Companion Gardens, Kirkwood, ...." in the Placefield.
The Cemetery part will then be 'transported' to Local Field
Do you also have a Kirkwood as a Local Site?
