Yes, you can do that by clicking on the "Name" heading of the list.
I can say that I never use the lists (found under View > Lists), I instead
will click on the filter icon next to the name of the current individual,
which will bring up the Individual Pick Dialog. I then will start typing
the surname of the person I'm looking for. The Individual Pick Dialog
shows more information, which I really need to better choose the person I
want. It also allows you to do more searching based on different needs.
