I'm looking for information on this couple, who both died in Wilcox County. John was b Jun 1870, Hartsville, Darlington Co, SC, d Apr 2, 1951, Seville, Wilcox Co, GA. He was the son of Mortimer Wilson Barefoot and Caroline "Carrie" Howle. Julia was b May 1870, SC, d Dec 4, 1964, Wilcox Co. They m on Dec 30, 1896, in Crawford Co, GA. She was the daughter of Lee Harper and ??. I really, really want to find out who her mother was; I know that Lee remarried later in life, but I want to know who the first wife was.
I'd also appreciate any info on the children of John and Julia. Thanks!
