Redding Hunter was one of Elijah Hunter's sons and a brother to my great,great grandfather David Edward Hunter. He married Malinda Tucker 26 Oct 1845. He served in the Civil War with Distinguished Service and was discharged 24 Feb 1864. Look at the 1850 census, and you will find him and his family in Irwin Co.,GA.
