>From Monday, Feb. 8 to Monday, Feb 15, 1768, No. 1689.
Run away from one of Governor Wright's plantations in Georgia last
October were three slaves: Cato, Carolina born, about 20 years old;
Bullock about 40, of the Angola country, a very good sawyer and formerly
belonged to Capt. Lampriers at Hobcaw where he is well known; and Ned
about 30, purchased as a "New Negro" from Oolney in 1754. They crossed
the Savannah River at Purrysburg and are supposed to be going towards
Santee where they lived several years, or may have taken higher up in
the back settlements. Five Pounds reward for delivering them to Richard
Lambton at Charles-Town or Governor Wright [James Wright] at Savannah.
