Hi All,
I am a descendant of Peter Garvey who was born c.1825-45
in Ireland (poss Armagh) & died in Baltimore, MD. in 1885.
He married 1st wife Mary Hogan in Balto.1861 & they had known
children : John,Mary,Sarah,Peter J., Catherine,Margaret,Mary R.,
& Alice. Peter was widowed in 1880 & married 2nd wife Katherine
Betzold abt.1881. Their known children were Leo J., & Patrick H.
Peter operated a coaches stable w/ James Garvey ( relation
unknown) approx.1861-1885. Buried beside Peter is a Patrick H.
Garvey b.c.1828 in Co.Armagh. d.1868. & poss his brother.
Peter had relative ties to N.Y. & Phila. per his obit, & I am very
interested in his parentage especially. Any info or contacts would
be very appreciated.
