Hi folks,

Looking for GARD(I)NER in Ireland.

My Greatgreatgrandfather William Thomas GARD(I)NER married in South Australia in 1862. He was born c1839 and his father was named Hiram on William's marriage certificate. It has been said that William came from Ireland and the relations were visited during WW2.

No other background information is at hand.
No passenger list into SA has a William GARD(I)NER from Ireland
William died 1878 prior to Birthplace being entered on Certificate.
Cannot find a William s/o Hiram on Family Search.
