I'm trying to find any descendants of Asa and Sarah Prior. They would be my
great-great-great-great grandparents. (That's a lot of "greats!") Asa was
born in 1784 and died in 1854; married to Sarah in 1805. I'm not sure of her
birth and death dates. They had 8 children that I know of. Ephraim Prior,
listed as "deaf and dumb"; Middleton, listed as "deaf and dumb", Haden M.
Prior married Nancy Ann S. Monforth; Andrew Jackson Prior-married Sarah;
William H.C. Prior married Ann Cerena Hughes; Lucious Prior listed as "deaf
and dumb" married Mary T. Hogue; Abigail Prior listed as "deaf and dumb";
Angeline A. Prior listed as "deaf and dumb".

I am from the branch of Lucious and Mary Prior. Their daughter Sarah Ann
"Sally" married John David Ferguson, whose son James Allison married Margie
Eujane Wallace. Their daughter Sarah Lee married Humphrey Odis Davis, whose
daughter, Betty Faye married James Donald Kendrick and from them came Me.

I have a son who is hearing impaired. I not only would like to find out more
about the deaf children of Asa and Sarah, but would like to find out if
there are any other descendants whose offspring are either deaf or hearing
impaired.

Sorry for all the information overload! Any help in this area would be
appreciated.
