I am new at genealogy and am trying to find  the gr and gr, gr grandparents of my husband, Robert Lindley Gammell (1923-1985). 
 His grandfather, Harry Lindley Gammell (b. 24 Dec. 1876 in RI)  married Ellen E. Blakeney who was b. in England.  1920 Census gives her date of immigration as 1895.
Harry's father John Gammell b. in Scotland and his mother, Emily Lindley (1847) was born in England.
Emily Lindley is reportedly the child of Joseph Lindley and Ann Coward.
