While doing Stewart research in North Stonington (my family lived on Stewart
Hill and there is a small family cemetery there), I was directed to Great
Plain Cemetery by Gladys Chase, who is the librarian at the North Stonington
Historical Society to find Nathan and Barbary Stewart buried there.

While I was there I took photos of Gallups also buried in this cemetery as
it is very nearby and I knew the other Gallups lived in Groton-Ledyard which
is a long distance away.

John Dean Gallup was one of those graves I found. His wife was a Denison.
