I do not know if what I have has any connection to your family. This is not
my direct line so I have little data.
I have a Jim (James) Meehan who was buried in Glascow, Scotland. His mother
was Briget Gallagher who was the daughter of Connel and Margaret Gallagher.
Briget is a sister to my ancestor. This Gallagher family lived in the
Legan/Mount Charles area of Donegal, Ireland. I found a photo of this Jim
Meehan in my great grandparents photo album. The photo was taken in St.
Louis, MO not far from where my g-grandparents lived in IL. A letter
mentions that Briget's sister, Kate, was also in Scotland. I know that this
is not much info and Gallagher is such a common name. All I have is the info
from the back of the photo!
