Hi Ethel, I'm sorry I don't have William, but his age is close enough to my
gggrandfather that there maybe is a sibling relationship. Mine(Patrick) was in
Taunton, MA, near RI, in 1850. Came from Ireland, year county unknown,
married Ann Gillooly, date or location unknown. Any bells?

Is there anyone out there that might have a connection to a William

Gallagher (my gr-gr-grandfather) who lived in RI (maybe Newport) in
1850s,

then in NY state in 1860s. He was born in
Ireland abour 1825.
