I also have GALLAGHER from Leitrim though they appear to be a bit later than
yours. My Peter GALLAGHER was born about 1845, immigrated (Unknown), settled
in San Francisco (1867) and died in 1897. His occupation was a plasterer.
He had the following siblings according to his Obituary, Margaret or Maggie
(Gallagher) Wheeler (@1845-1898), Mary (Gallagher) Ryan (Unknown) and Thomas
GALLAGHER (Unknown) Maggie married a Michael Wheeler from County Westmeath
and settled in Virginia City, NV about 1867 after being in CA in 1865.

I have a fairly complete list of decedents for Peter but very little on his
siblings. If this matches any of your GALLAGHERs, I would be happy to share
information.
