Dear List,

It is some time since I first posted my Gallagher relatives, and thought
some more recent joiners might recognize a name or two. I do not yet
know where in Ireland Richard Gallagher was born. He was married to
Bridget Lydon (of Rahoon, County Galway) in Hancock, NY in 1860. Bridget
was the daughter of Patrick Lydon and Winifred Morris (who in 1862, m2)
Michael Killham in Hancock.) At least one of Bridget's brothers,
Timothy Lydon, lived in Pittsburgh and a sister, Margaret m Michael
O'Grady and lived in Brooklyn.

The Gallaghers lived in northern Wayne Co., PA, in Susquehanna Co., PA,
and I next find Bridget in Potter Co., PA. Richard d in Coudersport in
1916, Bridget in Buffalo, NY in 1927. Their children were Michael,
Winifred, Patrick, Catherine, Richard, Margaret and Martin. I think it
likely, from the naming pattern, that Michael and Catherine Gallagher
were Richard's parents.

Any familiar names within?
