The Cobb County, Georgia, Cemeteries, Volume II, has the Midway cemetery, and though in my memory it has always been Presbyterian, I am wondering if it was ever a Baptist church. In my collection of obituaries, I am positive that I have run across early death notices stating that Baptist folks were "buried at Midway Church near Lost Mountain." Maybe just the closest. Anybody have the church history handy?

Julie, you are right. There are between 40 and 50 listings of Mayes, Wardlaw and Moon burials there. I will be happy to do a lookup if you will furnish the given names you need.

In the meantime,
good hunting!
Linda

Hi! I have been looking for a Listing of all the burials in Midway Cemetery. Do you know if that exists?

I am primarily looking for my family name, Wardlaw, Mayes & Moon. I know there are a good many buried there.
