There is a Chas Gravit on the 1840 Cobb County Census - page 266 Males in
household
1 child 1-5 ; 1 (15-20) 1 (20-30) 1 60-70
Females in Household

1 1-5; 1 (15-20) 1 (40-50)

I suppose this could be your Charles (Chas) - you will need to look at the
county divisions from the other data you have.
