The GA State Archives is now in Morrow, Clayton County, GA at the
following
address: 5800 Jonesboro Road [GA Hwy 54 for you map readers] in the city
of
Morrow near Lake City which both are south of Forest Park.

Information phones are: 404-656-2393 and 678-364-3700 according to
newspaper
copy of the notice.

Later in the Summer of 2004 the Federal Archives will have their new site
next
door to the State Archives in what is billed as Gateway Village on ground
adjacent
to Clayton College`s campus. All of this is closer to the Atlanta
Airport.

The combined Archives complex should draw 60,000 visitors annually
according to
those who should know. Also this two archive complex will be the first
such federal
and state site in the country. Both sites are in walking distance from
each other
and should not pose a parking problem at neither.
