I really don't know how to answer you. I would suggest you find out what
the area was called before it was Dooly Co. Sometimes these areas we know
today were in another state and were cut out of that state when lines were
drawn.
I did not find a Halliday in this book. I did find Thomas Holliday in
Burke Co.
