This 1820 info might not help since your John would have been only 14. It
is a list of heads of household only, no other family members or info. I will
send the ones named John for you. There was no John S.
As for his son's Bible, maybe John was born in what became Dooly so the
son just wrote Dooly.
John found in Baldwin, Clarke, Columbia, 2 in Madison, Oglethorpe, Walton,
John in Greene, 2 in Habersham, Jasper, Liberty
John W. in Oglethorpe
